ALUSPHERE – a ceramic hose with extreme wear resistance.

Alusphere - niezwykle odporny na ścieranie wąż ceramiczny

Delivery hose used for pneumatic conveying of dry abrasive materials such as dry cement, coal dust, coal, coke, solid alternative fuels, steel shot, glass aggregate, etc. Used in steel mills, coking plants, power plants, cement plants, mines, glass works, plants producing abrasive materials and insulation materials.

One of its advantages is the very long service life in these applications – a traditional abrasion-resistant rubber hose will only last a few days, while ALUSPHERE hose can work for several months under the same conditions.

Available to order in diameters of 19-100 mm.

Advantages

  • Extreme abrasion resistance – several times greater than that of rubber hoses operating in the same conditions due to ceramic balls embedded in the inner layer of the hose.

  • Built-in copper wire discharging electrical charges – antistatic outer layer for even better dissipation of electrical charges.
  • GHIBLI flange system fits on the outside of the hose – no contact between the medium and the fitting (only for suction-delivery version).

  • Custom-made, metric or imperial thread fittings are an option for mounting externally on the hose.

  • The hose can come with soft ends for mounting on steel pipe stubs right on a customer’s system.

Examples of applications

Conveying pulverised coal in steel mills

Aplikacja tłoczenia pyłu węglowego w hutach

Transfer of alternative fuel in cement works

Przesył paliwa alternatywnego w cementowaniach

GHIBLI split flange system

A suction-delivery version with a corrugated outer layer designed for GHIBLI split flange system is also available. The main advantage of GHIBLI split flange system is that there is no contact between the medium and the fitting.
