Dry Disconnect Couplings

Dry disconnect couplings are intended for spill free (or minimum spill) connection of industrial installations and flexible loading/unloading hose assemblies.
Both halves of the coupling have valves which are open and allow product to flow when the coupling is attached, whereas the valves are closed and prevent leakage when the coupling halves are separate. Depending on the design of the coupling, the valves close automatically when the halves are uncoupled or manually – first the valves must be closed, then the coupling can be disconnected.
The dry break couplings conform to the recent requirements concerning safety, environmental protection and reliability so important when hazardous, toxic or expensive fluids are transferred.
The dry disconnect couplings are widely used in road, rail, marine, air transport as well as in petrochemical industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

DDC, DGC, DAC Dry Disconnect Couplings

The most popular of all dry disconnect couplings. DDC couplings (Dry Disconnect Coupling) is a standard industrial version. They are compatible with the couplings of many other manufacturers. The coupler (hose unit) and the adapter (tank unit) have piston valves. To connect, the coupler must be pushed onto the adapter and so engaged, the rotary head of the coupling must be turned. Available in a size range from 1″ to 8″ (DN25 to DN200), with the characteristic outer diameter of the plug (56, 70, 105, 119, 164, 238 and 272 mm).
DDC couplings comply with ATEX, ADR, RID, TDT, Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. The couplings DN50 ÷ DN100 conform to NATO STANAG 3756 standard.
DDC couplings are made of: aluminium, brass, AISI 316 stainless steel, Duplex steel, PEEK, PVDF, Hastelloy, titanium with the appropriate sealing. Working pressure depends on the diameter and material of the coupling and ranges from 6 to 25 bar. Connection: BSP female thread, PN, ASA, TTMA flanges.
DGC couplings (Dry Gas Coupling) are intended for gases, especially LPG, in sizes ranging from 1″ to 8″.
DAC couplings (Dry Aviation Coupling) 2.1/2″ (DN65) designed for jet fuel loading and unloading, comply with NATO STANAG 3105 and ISO 45 standards.

DRY-DIS TR Dry Disconnect Couplings

DRY DIS TR series, spill free, dry disconnect couplings are common in the chemical, petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industry. They conform to the stringent requirements concerning safety, environmental protection and reliability so important when hazardous, toxic or expensive fluids are transferred. DRY DIS couplings comply with ATEX, ADR, RID, TDT, Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. Coupling material – AISI 316/316Ti stainless steel or brass. Handwheel of the coupler is made of polypropylene. Sizes from 1″ (DN25) to 4″ (DN100). Both parts: adapter (tank unit) and coupler (hose unit) have piston valves which close off immediately when disconnected. The connection is made by pushing the coupler onto the adapter and rotating the head of the coupling. Working pressure up to 25 bar. BSP female thread connection. A version with code features is also available – it prevents mixing the couplers with the adapters intended for a different medium.

DRY LINK Dry Disconnect Couplings

DRY-LINK couplings meeting the highest requirements of safety and functionality. Spill free – the quantity of a spilled fluid is virtually non-measurable. The unique construction includes two butterfly valves, in the coupler and in the adapter. The discs of the valves are parallel to the flowing medium, do not restrict the flow when connected and do not cause affect the pressure. Perfect for high viscosity fluids. The halves are coupled by sliding the coupler onto the adapter, pulling down the safety interlock and opening the valve. The safety interlock prevents accidental uncoupling. Material of the coupling – AISI316 stainless steel or special alloys, Alloy 20 or Hastelloy C. In sizes from 1″ to 3″. Working pressure from 8,3 bar to 14,3 bar – depends on the size, vacuum up to 711 mm Hg. Available connections: BSP thread, flange, weld-in, TRICLOVER and as a special, polished, hygienic version. Used in the chemical industry, petrochemical, foodstuff and pharmaceutical industry.

DRY-MATE Dry Disconnect Couplings

DRY-MATE couplings – user friendly dry disconnect couplings that allow simple, safe and virtually spill free connection of installation elements. The ball valves in both halves of the coupling allow for full uninterrupted flow. The coupler couples with the adapter with cam levers similar to the cam arms of CAMLOCK coupling. Once the valves open, the cam levers are automatically mechanically locked – hence the halves of the coupling cannot be separated. The valves cannot be opened when the coupling is disconnected. DRY-MATE couplings are available in two versions: DRY-MATE SS – made of AISI316 stainless steel- in sizes DN25 and DN38, and DRY-MATE PP – made of glass fibre reinforced polypropylene – in size DN38. BSP and NPT female thread end connection. Working pressure up to 7 bar.
DRY-MATE couplings are used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry as well as agriculture (plant protection products). Not suitable for gases.
