LOCTITE 243 is a medium-strength removable anaerobic adhesive suitable for all metal threaded connections. It prevents loosening of parts subjected to vibrations, such as bolts, nuts, or pins. It works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces). It features tolerance to light contamination from industrial oils, such as engine oils, corrosion inhibitors, and coolants. Color: blue. Maximum thread diameter: up to M36. Operating temperature range: from -55°C to +180°C. Breakaway torque for bolts: 26 Nm. Time to achieve initial strength: 15-30 min (depending on the material).
