Needle valve with safety insert, stainless steel, H-285

Needle valve with a non-rotating stem tip (PEEK), designed for installation from the external thread side in HSSC sampling cylinders. The safety insert screwed into the valve protects the cylinder from excessive pressure increase. The safety plate welded to the insert ruptures at a specified pressure, allowing the medium to flow through holes in the hexagonal head of the insert. The safety insert can be easily replaced in the field without the need to disassemble the valve from the cylinder. The valve is tested at 120% of the working pressure according to ISO 14246 (valve with safety insert at 80% of the insert's burst pressure). The valve meets the requirements of the TPED directive (2010/35/EU). Material: AISI 316 steel (knob - aluminum). Safety plate material: alloy 600/B168. Stem sealing: NBR o-ring, PTFE ring. Insert sealing: o-ring (viton). Stem tip: PEEK. Working pressure: up to 206 bar (at 37°), temperature dependent. Insert burst pressure: 131 bar or 196 bar. Flow coefficient: 0.53 Cv. Operating temperature: from -20°C to +122°C.
