Short description

Light and flexible suction and discharge hose intended for water, juices, beverages, beer, wine, alcohols with a concentration of up to 20%, and other food products. Not recommended for milk and its derivatives, oils, and fatty food substances. Reinforced with a hard PVC spiral, resistant to impacts, providing good resistance to vacuum and hose collapse. The transparent wall allows for easy visual monitoring of flow. The smooth inner surface reduces flow losses and ensures ease of cleaning. The outer surface is slightly corrugated. In applications not involving direct contact with food (in industry, construction, agriculture), it can be used for light chemicals, water, sludges and sewage, other liquids (without fats, oils, and hydrocarbons), as well as for air, vacuum transfer of dust, powders, granules, and other lightly abrasive bulk substances (non-fatty). Abrasiveness and potential static electricity issues should be considered. Available in an antistatic version LUISIANA AS - additionally features a copper wire embedded in the hose material parallel to the PVC spiral, which, when connected to the installation and grounded, ensures the discharge of electrostatic charges. This version is available on special order, example index for the antistatic version: e.g., ME-LUISIANA-AS-050. Standards and requirements: Food industry, contact with food: compliant with European requirements 1935/2004/EC and 10/2011/EU (simulant fluids A, B, and C), 2023/2006/EC (GMP). Hose material: transparent yellowish PVC. Reinforcement: hard PVC spiral. Working pressure: from 2 bar to 8 bar, depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -5°C to +60°C.
