Short description
A leak-free SNAP-TITE quick-coupling socket (1/4" ÷ 1") with a BSP or NPTF female thread, American-made, intended for heavy-duty operating conditions. They have the highest working pressure among flat-face type quick couplings. The quick couplings can be operated with one hand. Depending on the application, the appropriate coupling and seal material should be selected. For pulsating pressure, the working pressure should be reduced by 40%. Optionally, the socket has a stem to prevent accidental disconnection. Application: power hydraulics (hydraulic oil), industrial (water, steam, fuels and oils, gases and chemicals). Working pressure: up to 690 bar (depending on the quick-coupling size). Material: carbon steel, galvanized. Sealing: NBR (from -35°C to +120°C), viton (from -26°C to +204°C), EPR (from -56°C to +120°C). The flow given at Δp = 3 bar.
