Thermal protection hose covers – general information
Thermal protection elements made of fibre glass or silica fibre (fully resistant to fire). Available in sheets, „sleeve” or tape version.
Depending on type maximal working temperature is +982°C (with peaks up to +1650°C). Widely used in steelworks, glass works, ironworks, foundries (silicone coated fibre glass). Special type of „sleeve” with construction that allows expansion and shrinkage by 25% to fit the required hose diameter is available on request.
“PYRO” family consists of:
“PYRO” family high-temperature covers are made of fibreglass fabric coated with rust-coloured silicone. Resistant to abrasion, oils, fuels and the majority of industrial chemicals.
Working temp.: from -54°C up to +260°C
Maximum working temp.: up to +1090°C for 15÷20 minutes; up to +1650°C for 15÷30 seconds
High-temperature sleeves, for hoses, cables and ropes
High-temperature tapes, for hose assembly and system wrapping
Thermal cover, rolls or sheets
Velcro thermal fabric, for water-cooled power cables
Thermal sealant, semi-fluid bonding paste
