Atmospheric air is polluted with gases, vapour, particles of various chemical compounds but also with dust of various shapes, structure and density usually swirling in the air. The composition and concentration of pollutants in the atmospheric air depends on the location and time of the year. All of these pollutants enter pneumatic systems enriched with impurities brought in during compression, unless they are removed from the air before and after the compression. In pneumatics, compressed air is prepared in special devices, air preparation units.

FRL compressed air preparation units responsible for filtration, regulation and lubrication etc. are made of plastics and metal alloys with highly durable techno-polymers. Diameters ranging from 1/8” to 2” and high flow rate values enable matching operating parameters with virtually each application. Among many other products, Tubes International offers:

• Filters, fine filters and filters with activated carbon insert, which remove the remaining particles of oil, solvents or even odours. They are equipped with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic condensate drain valves.
• Reducers, filter-reducers or precision reducing valves maintain the pressure values at the desired constant level. In the event of a sudden pressure surge, they release the excess of air to the atmosphere.
• Lubricators, which provide a lubricating agent to the compressed air. In a standard version, they are filled with oil by disassembly of the tank or via a top cap. The lubricators with automatic filling are available to special order.
