Description: METALFLEX/M single braid steel hose of 25 mm inner diameter, with BSP female thread fittings at both ends was used for the production of this hose assembly. The hose has excellent resistance to liquid chemicals and temperature of the fluid, which depending on hose diameter can reach as high as +700 ºC. The hose assembly comes in a thermal sleeve for more protection but also abrasion resistance. The sleeve acts as heat insulator too. It reduced the consumption of energy used for maintaining the temperature of the fluid circulating in the heating system.
The steel hose assemblies are used in such applications as for example road building industry, where they supply hot oil to bitumen heating tanks.
