||hydraulic system in an excavator
Description: To deliver powerful and smooth performance, each attachment fitted to the excavator arm must be driven by the hydraulics at pressure needed by the specific attachment. To get insight into the current oil pressure, a measuring coupling is installed in the hydraulic system. To read off the oil pressure, a pressure gauge is screwed into a hose assembly, which then allows the measurements to be taken in any place the coupling is located.
The basic component of this hose assembly is TEST8 hose designed for taking measurements. The hose assembly has M16x1,5 female thread measuring coupling at one end, the other end comes with ¼” BSP female thread fitting to connect the pressure gauge. Ferrules are made of carbon steel.
The TEST hose assemblies are used for measuring pressure or leak testing of hydraulic systems in construction machinery, hydraulic presses and in control systems.
