Description: While building an internal combustion engine for their race car, AGH Racing team faced the challenge of finding a flexible connection between actuators and a compressed air tank. Apart from flexibility, low weight of the component was critical for this application. The team decided to use polyamide hoses – Rilsan HT, DN 6. The connectors they applied provided a perfectly leak-tight connection for hose assemblies in these heavy duty conditions – located directly on the engine, working at about 10 bar pressure, elevated temperature, subject to severe, continuous vibrations.
