Suction strainers (rose box strainers) are mounted at the end of a suction hose inserted into a tank. They prevent debris, undesirable solids from entering the hose and the system thus protecting suction pumps against damage. Used with hoses for drawing water, sludge, sewage, emptying septic tanks or other tanks. Formed into different shapes (cylindrical, conical) and versions (with round or rectangular holes), made of zinc-plated sheet steel, AISI304 or AISI 316 stainless steel. Connection ends come with BSP or NPT female thread or with a fitting for direct hose mounting. Sizes from 1.1/2″ (DN40 mm) up to 8″ (DN200).
