Teflon flexible hose, smooth inside, corrugated outside in aramid braid, HYPERLINE FX
The HYPERLINE FX hose is an optimal solution for industrial applications where high flow rates, chemical and temperature resistance, and permeation resistance are required. It is perfectly suited for the transfer of chemicals, fuels, oils, paints, solvents, adhesives, dyes, gases, and steam, detergents, water, and food substances. At operating temperatures above +130°C, the maximum working pressure specified in the table should be reduced by 1% for each 1°C above this temperature. For example, at a temperature of 170°C, the maximum working pressure for the hose AF-FXAM-10 is: 70 bar – (170°C-160°C) x 1 = 70 bar – 40% = 42 bar. In cases where a substance that is a poor conductor and has potential electrification properties flows through the PTFE hose, the electric charge will accumulate on the inner surface of the PTFE, and to avoid static electricity issues, an antistatic AS variant of PTFE is used. Antistatic Teflon in the AS version contains appropriately distributed graphite in the PTFE and has a resistance R <108 Ω (according to ISO 8031 annex A). Hose material: smooth inside, corrugated outside PTFE (Teflon) – natural white and antistatic – black. Reinforcement: aramid braid. Working pressure: from 35 bar to 77 bar – depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -70°C to +180°C.
