Light, flexible, bendable, and almost smooth inside hose designed for the extraction and transport of dust, powders, granules, grains, flakes, and similar lightweight materials with abrasive properties. Made from polyether-polyurethane, it has good resistance to abrasion, ozone, weather conditions, hydrolysis, and biological corrosion. Suitable for contact with food for the transport of bulk and liquid food materials, including fatty or oily substances. Not recommended for milk and its derivatives. Reinforcement with a hard PVC spiral provides good crush resistance. The antistatic version of the hose features a copper antistatic wire embedded on the outer side of the hose along the reinforcing spiral. Effective grounding of the wire ensures a sufficient level of electrostatic charge dissipation for many applications. Particularly used in the agri-food industry, plastics, building materials, etc. The WIND STAR PU hose complies with European requirements 10/2011/EU (simulants A, B, C, D2, and E) and American FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 “d”, “e”, “f” (dry, liquid-water, fatty).
