STAR PS hard PVC spiral reinforced food substance hose
Flexible suction and discharge hose intended for water, juices, beverages, and other food products, reinforced with a hard PVC spiral, which also contributes to the hose’s lightweight. Additionally, the impact-resistant spiral ensures good resistance to vacuum and hose kinking. The transparent wall facilitates easy visual monitoring of the medium flow, and the absence of phthalates in the material allows the hose to be used for the transfer of milk and its derivatives, as well as alcohols with a concentration of up to 50%. It is not recommended for oils and fatty food substances. The smooth inner surface reduces flow losses and ensures ease of cleaning. The outer surface is also smooth, facilitating the installation of fittings using tapes or clamps, reducing external damage from abrasion, and aiding in keeping the hose clean. As a hose reinforced only with a hard PVC spiral, lacking a braid, it undergoes certain elongations under pressure, which should be considered in application, especially at temperatures above 40°C.
