Hydraulic check valves
Hydraulic check valves – general information
These are popular high-pressure valves found in virtually every hydraulic power system. The standard material of construction is galvanized carbon steel with NBR sealing. In their simplest form (one inlet and one outlet), they allow fluid flow in one direction and prevent reverse flow. A separate type is pilot-operated check valves (also known as hydraulic locks), which protect against the unintended movement of actuators (e.g., when the pump is inactive). Tubes International also offers check valves made of brass or stainless steel, as well as valves with other sealing materials suitable for general industrial high-pressure applications.
