Does the CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug cap fit all CEJN quick coupling sizes and protect against contamination and damage?

Yes . the CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug cap is designed specifically for CEJN quick coupling series 115, 116, 117 and 125. It functions as a blind plug to protect the couplings from contamination and damage. Made of PVC and available in red, black, or blue, it provides a simple protective barrier when the coupling is not in use. Note: Fit and protection effectiveness assume matching coupling sizes within those series; confirm size compatibility with your specific coupling model if precise tolerances are critical.

Are CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug caps compatible with other manufacturers' couplings and provide dust and impact protection?

CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug caps are designed as blind plugs for CEJN quick coupling series to protect against contamination and damage. They provide dust and impact protection, but compatibility with other manufacturersâ couplings is not guaranteed-fit depends on the external dimensions and design of the other couplings. For reliable sealing and protection, verify dimensional match or consult the other manufacturerâs specifications before use.

Can the CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug cap be used for outdoor applications without degrading?

CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug cap is intended primarily as a blind plug to protect quick coupling ends from contamination and mechanical damage. Made of PVC, it offers basic chemical and abrasion resistance suitable for indoor or temporary outdoor use. However, prolonged outdoor exposure will likely degrade PVC: UV radiation from sunlight causes embrittlement, discoloration and loss of flexibility over time; temperature extremes can make PVC brittle in cold or soften it in heat; and outdoor pollutants, ozone and repeated wet/dry cycles accelerate wear. If the plug is mounted on equipment constantly exposed to sun, rain, or harsh environments, expect reduced service life compared with sheltered use. For occasional or short-term outdoor use (temporary installations, storage, or transport) CEJN series 115, 116, 117, 125 PVC quick connector plug cap is acceptable. For long-term outdoor exposure or critical applications, choose a UV- and weather-resistant material (e.g., EPDM, silicone, or specially formulated UV-stabilized plastics) or use additional protection (covers, shaded storage) to prevent premature degradation.
