The inner layer has good resistance to high temperatures, saturated steam, and the phenomenon of pop-corning (destruction of the inner layer due to the ingress of steam condensate). It can temporarily withstand superheated steam at a temperature of 230°C and a pressure of 18 bar; prolonged use with superheated steam reduces the hose’s lifespan. The outer layer is resistant to temperature, weather conditions, abrasion, and aging. The hose is used in the chemical, petrochemical, and energy industries, as well as in other industrial applications. It is not intended for steam cleaners (“dry steam cleaners”). For steam, use special screw-on fittings designed for steam. To extend the lifespan, the hose should be emptied of steam after use to avoid condensate accumulation. Safety factor: 10:1.
