Quick-connection socket DN22 with valve, GW BSP, brass, series 2100
Universal quick-connect socket with a large diameter and internal BSP thread, primarily intended for compressed air. Used for large pneumatic installations, compressors, and tools with very high flow rates. Material: brass (socket), galvanized steel (sleeve), stainless steel (balls and springs). Performance: 12000 l/min at an inlet pressure Pe=6 bar, Δp=0.5 bar, air. Working pressure: 20 bar. Operating temperature: from -20°C to +100°C (NBR), depending on the medium.
Connecting and disconnecting the TEMA 2100 quick coupling:
Connecting: 1 – initial position, marks on the body and sleeve of the socket aligned; 2 – slide the locking sleeve of the socket back against the resistance of the spring, insert the plug; 3 – plug inserted, locking sleeve moved back forward; 4 – rotate the plug to the right relative to the socket, the plug will screw in due to the cam; 5 – after a full turn of about 180°, the plug will engage with the cam, the connection is made; 6 – secure the connection against disconnection by rotating the locking sleeve of the socket so that the marks do not align – now the connection is secured and the plug cannot be rotated.
Disconnecting – in reverse order, opposite to the arrows: 6 and 5 – align the marks on the locking sleeve and the body of the socket; 4 and 3 – rotate the plug to the left to the end – about 180° – now the connection is vented and air from the plug side escapes from the connection, the plug cannot be removed, 2 and 1 – slide the locking sleeve of the socket back – now the plug can be removed from the socket.
