Is the Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads compatible with standard NITO end type A internal-thread fittings?

Yes. The Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads is designed specifically for NITO end type A with internal threads, so it is compatible with standard NITO end type A internal-thread fittings. It provides the correct sealing surface and dimensions to ensure a proper leak-free connection when used with matching NITO type A female-threaded hose ends and fittings.

Can the Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads be used with NITO end type A internal-thread adapters from other manufacturers?

Yes - the Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads can be used with NITO end type A internal-thread adapters from other manufacturers, provided those adapters conform to the same NITO type A internal thread dimensions and seat geometry. Compatibility depends on matching thread size, thread pitch, sealing face diameter and seating angle. If the thirdâparty adapter is manufactured to NITO type A specifications, the gasket will seat properly and form a reliable seal; if dimensions deviate, leakage or improper fit may occur. When in doubt, verify adapter specs or test under controlled conditions.

Does the Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads seal properly with worn NITO end type A internal-thread fittings?

Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads Format: Based on the description "Flat gasket for NITO end with internal thread type A", the gasket is designed to seal against the flat mating surface of a correctly formed NITO end type A internal-thread fitting. If the internal-thread fitting is worn, the sealing performance depends on the wear extent and location: - Minor wear limited to the threads: The flat gasket can still seal properly because it seals on the flat seat, not the threads. If the sealing face remains smooth and undamaged, the gasket should provide an effective seal despite some thread wear. - Wear on the sealing face or deformation: If the internal-thread fittingâs flat sealing surface is scratched, pitted, warped, or has material loss, the flat gasket will not reliably seal. Any breach or unevenness in the seat allows leaks even when the gasket is new. - Significant thread damage affecting alignment: If thread wear causes misalignment or prevents proper axial compression of the gasket (the hose end cannot be fully engaged to press the gasket against the seat), sealing will fail. - Gasket condition and material compatibility: A new, undamaged flat gasket made of the correct material can accommodate minor surface imperfections. Older or hardened gaskets lose conformity and may not seal against a marginally worn seat. Conclusion: Gasket for NITO hose end with female threads will seal properly with worn NITO end type A internal-thread fittings only if the flat sealing surface of the fitting remains intact and the hose end can be fully engaged to compress the gasket. If the sealing face is worn, damaged, or alignment is compromised, replace the fitting or gasket to ensure a reliable seal.
