Suction and discharge hose for aggressive chemicals MANIFLON
High-quality suction and discharge hose designed for the transfer of aggressive chemical substances, solvents, and concentrated chemicals, characterized by high thermal and mechanical strength and the highest purity of the inner layer. The inner layer is made of white perfluoroalkoxy polymer MFA (fluoropolymer with properties similar to Teflon), mirror-smooth (prevents medium deposition on the walls and is easy to clean), odorless and tasteless, meeting high hygiene requirements (FDA, USP, European EU). Intermediate layers made of synthetic rubber, reinforced with synthetic cord, and a steel wire spiral. The outer layer is made of EPDM rubber, antistatic (R<106 Ω), abrasion-resistant, ozone-resistant, and weather-resistant. The hose features excellent chemical resistance and purity of MFA, impermeability, temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and mechanical stress resistance. Widely used in the chemical industry due to its total resistance to most chemical substances. Suitable for the transfer of concentrated acids and alkalis (sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.). Resistant to rigorous cleaning conditions using the Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) method. On special order, version M according to EN 12115 with two built-in copper wires for discharging electric charges. Standards and requirements: Chemical hoses: EN 12115:2011 (type Ω). Food industry, contact with food: 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP); inner layer: 10/2011/EU, USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 (e-i); ISO 10993. Does not contain plasticizers, phthalates, or animal-derived substances. Assembly: use smooth fittings with a spigot (“tail” for the hose) that do not have sharp or high ribs that could cut or damage the inner layer made of MFA when tightened. The diameter of the spigot should be precisely matched to the diameter of the hose to ensure tightness. Assembly with clamp sleeves or shell clamps. Confirmation of resistance and application conditions requires contact with Tubes International. Inner layer: white MFA polymer. Reinforcement: synthetic cord, steel spiral. Outer layer: black EPDM rubber. Working pressure: 16 bar. Operating temperature: from -50°C to +170°C.
