Discharge hose for AdBlue® (urea) BLUE
Hose designed specifically for the transfer of AdBlue® (AUS32, DEF) – 32.5% aqueous urea solution. The inner layer of the hose consists of black, smooth, antistatic (R‹10^6 Ω/m) EPDM rubber vulcanized without sulfur. The inner layer of the hose is free from contaminants such as aluminum, calcium, chlorine, copper, iron, potassium, magnesium, sodium, nickel, and zinc, ensuring the highest purity of the medium in accordance with ISO 22241-2. This is particularly important in the automotive industry, where AdBlue® acts as a reductant to decompose harmful nitrogen oxides in the SCR catalyst. Its use allows compliance with European emission standards EURO 4, 5, and 6. For AdBlue® to be effective, it must be very pure, necessitating the use of specialized hoses, tanks, and fittings that are resistant to AdBlue® and do not contaminate it. Ends and fittings for AdBlue® should be made of stainless steel or suitable plastic. Besides automotive applications, the hose is also used in the chemical industry, for example, in the production of nitrogen fertilizers. Inner layer: black EPDM rubber. Reinforcement: synthetic braid. Outer layer: black EPDM rubber. Working pressure: 10 bar or 20 bar. Operating temperature: from -40°C to +100°C (temporarily up to +120°C).
