Is the ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 suitable for continuous use at working pressures up to 19 bar and temperatures from -20°C to +50°C?

Yes. The ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 is specified for working pressures up to 19 bar (pressure range 5â19 bar depending on size) and an operating temperature range of â20°C to +50°C. Therefore it is suitable for continuous use within those pressure and temperature limits.

Can the ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 be used with NR/SBR seals in wastewater treatment and groundwater drainage?

Yes. The ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 is specified for groundwater drainage and wastewater treatment plants and uses NR/SBR rubber seals. Its material and sealing are appropriate for those applications, and the connectorâs working pressure range (5â19 bar depending on size) and operating temperature (-20°C to +50°C) are suitable for typical wastewater and drainage conditions. Ensure the chosen connector size meets the systemâs pressure requirements and verify chemical compatibility of NR/SBR with any specific effluents present.

Does the ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 comply with food-grade standards for agricultural applications?

Based on the provided description, the ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 does not explicitly state compliance with food-grade standards. The description lists intended applications (agriculture, horticulture, industry, construction, wastewater and sewage systems, environmental protection), materials (galvanized steel) and sealing (NR/SBR rubber), plus working pressure and temperature range, but it does not mention any certifications or standards related to food-contact safety (e.g., FDA, EU Regulation 1935/2004, EC 10/2011, NSF, or specific food-grade elastomer/metal treatments). Key considerations for food-grade compliance that are not addressed in the description: - Material certification: galvanized steel typically involves a zinc coating; zinc and any coatings or treatments must be assessed for food contact suitability. - Seal material: NR/SBR rubber is common but not inherently food-grade; food applications usually require approved elastomers (e.g., EPDM, silicone, or FDA/EU-compliant grades) with documented approvals. - Manufacturing and cleaning: food-grade connectors often require smooth, non-corroding surfaces and traceable manufacturing/cleaning standards. - Formal declarations/certificates: conformity declarations or third-party test reports to relevant food-contact standards. Conclusion: You cannot assume the ANFOR 90° socket-plug connector, galvanized steel, type A.25 is food-grade for agricultural food applications based solely on the given description. To confirm suitability, request from the manufacturer specific food-contact certifications, material compliance statements, and any test reports relevant to the intended food-related use.
