Flat (butt) thread seal, type GD
Flat gasket (face) GD designed for sealing the connection of external cylindrical thread (e.g., GZ BSP) with internal thread (e.g., GW BSP). The gasket should be placed in the internal thread socket in a way that prevents its eccentric positioning and should adhere to the flat surfaces of the internal thread socket and the external threaded fitting. Working pressure: 25 bar. Gasket material: EPDM – approximate temperature range: from -50°C to +180°C; Novapress® – approximate temperature range: from -25°C to +250°C; PTFE – approximate temperature range: from -40°C to +250°C; polyurethane (PU) – approximate temperature range: from -40°C to +110°C; viton – approximate temperature range: from -20°C to +200°C. Maximum operating temperature range, without considering the influence of the medium (chemical resistance to the substance flowing through the connection at a specified temperature).
