MANTEX compressed air flat hose
Hose designed for the transmission of compressed air, for compressors, hammers, drills, and other pneumatic tools. Due to its low weight, flexibility, robust construction, and high working pressure, it has been accepted and successfully used for many years in construction (particularly in demolition companies), industry, and mining. Extremely durable and long-lasting due to high-quality materials and construction. Reinforced with a circumferentially woven polyester braid completely bonded and surrounded by rubber in the original hot extrusion process of the rubber mixture through the braid. UV resistant. The inner layer is smooth, ensuring minimal flow loss. The yellow, ribbed outer surface is resistant to abrasion, oils, and ozone, and is highly visible on construction sites. Flat when at rest, facilitating handling and storage. Resistant to longitudinal loads. Most commonly used with air couplings (spacing 42 or 41 mm) mounted with cast iron clamps (ordered separately). Also available in black. Use for high-pressure air should always be preceded by a risk analysis in the event of accidental disconnection or rupture of the hose and potential application of safeguards. Maximum working pressure established according to a safety factor of 4:1 approved by the manufacturer for air. Exceeding 1/3 of the specified breaking force is not recommended. Standard roll length: 200 m. Hose material: yellow NBR/PVC mixture with UV-resistant barrier, embedded in the polyester braid during the hose extrusion process. Working pressure: from 12.5 bar to 25 bar – depending on the hose diameter and temperature. Operating temperature: from -30°C to +75°C (temporarily up to +80°C).
