What is the maximum working pressure of the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump when used with the TNT250/B crimping tool?

The maximum working pressure of the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump when used with the TNT250/B crimping tool is 700 bar (10,000 psi).

How do I connect the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump to the TNT250/B crimping tool safely?

1. Ensure both MPT100 manual hydraulic pump and TNT250/B are on stable, clean surfaces and wear safety gloves and goggles. 2. Check pump oil level and that the TNT250/B is clean and undamaged. 3. Locate the hydraulic outlet on the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump and the corresponding inlet on the TNT250/B crimping tool. 4. Use the correct high-pressure hydraulic hose with compatible fittings; inspect for damage. 5. Screw the hose fittings hand-tight into the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump outlet and the TNT250/B inlet, then tighten with a wrench-do not overtighten. 6. Ensure all connections are sealed; purge air by slightly loosening the connection at the tool, operate the pump gently until oil flows, then retighten. 7. Operate the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump slowly to build pressure, watching for leaks or abnormal noises. 8. After crimping, release pressure per TNT250/B instructions, then disconnect hose, catch any oil, and store equipment safely.

Can the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump be used with other TNT series crimping tools besides TNT250/B?

Probably not. the MPT100 manual hydraulic pump is specified for the TNT250/B crimping tool, and compatibility with other TNT-series tools is not guaranteed without confirmation of hydraulic and mechanical matching. Explanation (concise): - The product description explicitly states: "Hydraulic pump MPT100 with manual drive intended for the crimping tool for air conditioning type TNT250/B." That indicates the unit was designed and rated to work with TNT250/B. - Key compatibility factors: operating pressure, flow rate, coupling type, and port fittings. If another TNT-series tool has the same required pressure, cylinder volume and uses the same connector type, the MPT100 may function, but this must be verified. - Risks of using MPT100 with other tools: under- or over-pressurization (leading to poor crimps or tool damage), mismatched flow causing incomplete stroke, incompatible fittings causing leaks or unsafe connections. - Recommended action: check technical specs (maximum working pressure, stroke/volume per pump, and port/coupling dimensions) of both MPT100 and the other TNT tool. If specs match or the manufacturer confirms compatibility, it is acceptable; otherwise use the pump specified for that tool or contact the manufacturer/distributor for confirmation. Conclusion: Use MPT100 manual hydraulic pump only with other TNT-series crimpers after verifying exact hydraulic and coupling compatibility or obtaining manufacturer confirmation; otherwise assume it is intended solely for TNT250/B.
