Yes. The Quick-connect socket with no-leak feature with female thread and valve, stainless steel, GROMELLE MLDB Format is made of AISI 316L (high-purity VIM-VAR) stainless steel, which provides very good resistance to corrosion in saline (chloride-containing) environments compared with common austenitic grades. AISI 316L has enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride media, making this coupling suitable for many saline or marine applications. However, final corrosion performance depends on factors such as chloride concentration, temperature, oxygenation, mechanical stress, crevice geometry, and exposure time. 316L performs well at moderate chloride levels and typical operating temperatures listed (-40/ -20 Â°C up to +150/ +200 Â°C depending on seal), but in highly aggressive chloride environments (e.g., warm, concentrated seawater or splash zones with prolonged wetting and crevice conditions) more resistant alloys (duplex stainless steels or superaustenitics) may be required. Seals (Viton or EPDM) and internal geometry also influence long-term behavior; ensure compatibility of the chosen seal with the fluid and temperature. For critical or prolonged exposure to highly saline or pressurized conditions, perform application-specific testing or consult the manufacturer for confirmation.
