Sheet-metal ferrule for crimping low-pressure hoses, carbon steel, type H
Sheet-metal ferrule type H used for crimping hoses onto fittings that do not have a lock joining the sleeve with the fitting. It can also be used on NiTO fittings and on quick-coupling fittings. Sheet-metal ferrules can be used to crimp low-pressure hoses (up to approx. 30 bar depending on the diameter), made of various materials, provided that the hose material is soft enough for this type of crimping. Above all, rubber hoses with textile reinforcement and PVC hoses. It is also possible to crimp hoses with a steel braid (e.g. PZ type hose). The internal diameter of the ferrule should be selected to match the external diameter of the hose, while ensuring that the hole diameter at the front of the ferrule matches the fitting used. Diameter D2 – internal diameter. Diameter D3 – hole diameter. Material: carbon steel, galvanized.
