DON® BN 6, BN 8 (SPECIAL) heavy-duty delivery hose for transfer of dry food substances
Strong suction hose designed for pneumatic transport of dry abrasive substances. Inner layer made of white, smooth, abrasion-resistant rubber (≤110±5 mm³ according to ISO 4649, formerly DIN 53516), food-grade, phthalate-free, compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for contact with dry food and BfR XXI category 4. Reinforcement with synthetic cord. Two built-in copper wires that, when grounded (or connected to a grounded end), dissipate electric charges. Outer layer made of electrically conductive rubber, resistant to weather conditions and ozone. Hose intended for the transport of dry food substances: grains, sugar, powders, feeds, granules, etc., as well as other abrasive substances such as PVC granulate, for which a white, non-staining inner layer is required. Not intended for use in ATEX explosion hazard zones. Available in two versions: BN standard (working pressure 6 bar) and BN SPECIAL (working pressure 8 bar). Standard length: 60 m (or 120 m – contact Tubes International). Standards and requirements: Food industry, contact with food 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP). Inner layer: white NR/SBR rubber. Reinforcement: synthetic cord. Outer layer: black EPDM rubber. Working pressure: 6 bar or 8 bar. Operating temperature: -30°C to +70°C.
