The smooth inner wall facilitates hose cleanliness and increases discharge efficiency by 20% compared to typical rubber hoses. The outer layer is resistant to abrasion and weather conditions. In the food industry, it can be used for the transfer and handling of hydrated, acidic food, and alcohols up to 20%, e.g., juices, beverages, beer, wine (simulants A, B, C; up to +40°C and 2 hours). Not recommended for milk and its derivatives, as well as oils and fatty food substances. The VACUPRESS SUPERELASTIC hose complies with European requirements 1978/142/EEC, 1935/2004/EC, 1895/2005/EC, and 10/2011/EU (simulants A, B, C), 2023/2006/EC (GMP). Suitable for temporary contact with food during the transfer of food substances – under the conditions specified in the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity (available at Tubes International). Inner layer: white PVC. Reinforcement: steel spiral, polyester braid. Outer layer: black PVC. Working pressure for a temperature of 20°C: from 5 bar to 20 bar – depending on the hose diameter. Operating temperature: from -25°C to +60°C. As the operating temperature increases, the working pressure value of the hose decreases.
