Is the NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass compatible with both 1/2" and 3/4" hoses under 25 bar pressure?

Yes. The NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass is designed to accept hoses of two diameters (it has a dual hose end) and is rated for a working pressure up to 25 bar, so it is compatible with both 1/2" and 3/4" hoses provided the hose outer/inner diameters match the connectorâs dual fittings and any required hose clamps or seals are used. Also ensure operating temperature does not exceed +80°C and that your hoses and clamps are rated for the same pressure and temperature.

Can the NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass withstand continuous use at temperatures up to +80°C?

Yes. The NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass is specified for an operating temperature up to +80°C, so it is designed to withstand continuous use at temperatures up to +80°C. Ensure installation and connected hoses are also rated for that temperature to maintain safe, reliable operation.

Does the NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass require lubricant for long-term reliable sealing?

No. the NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass does not require additional lubricant for long-term reliable sealing under normal use. Its chromeâplated brass construction and factoryâfitted seals (typically built from suitable elastomers) are designed to provide reliable sealing up to the stated working pressure (25 bar) and temperature (+80°C) without external lubricants. However, for best results and longevity: - Avoid petroleumâbased lubricants that can degrade rubber seals; if lubrication is ever needed for assembly or to ease hose fitting, use a waterâcompatible silicone or glycerinâbased lubricant sparingly. - Ensure hoses are the correct diameters for the dual hose end and are fitted cleanly, without dirt or nicks on sealing surfaces. - Inspect seals periodically for wear, swelling or hardening, especially after exposure to high temperature or aggressive water chemistry, and replace seals if degraded. - Do not exceed the rated pressure/temperature limits. Following these practices will preserve reliable sealing of the NiTO 1/2" water quick connector plug with double hose end, brass over longâterm use.
