The inner layer is made of white, smooth, abrasion-resistant rubber (80 mm³ according to ISO 4649, formerly DIN 53516), compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 requirements for food contact. Two built-in copper wires that, when grounded (or connected to a grounded end), dissipate electric charges. The outer layer is resistant to weather conditions and ozone. The hose is intended for the transport of dry food substances: grains, sugar, powders, feeds, granules, etc. (under FDA requirements) and other abrasive substances such as PVC granulate, for which a white, non-staining inner layer is required.
