VOLGA/BN SPECIAL® hose for sugar, grains, powders, granules
Strong suction and discharge hose designed for the extraction or pneumatic transport of dry abrasive substances. The inner layer is made of white, smooth, abrasion-resistant rubber (80 mm³ according to ISO 4649, formerly DIN 53516), compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 requirements for food contact. Two built-in copper wires that, when grounded (or connected to a grounded end), dissipate electric charges. The outer layer is resistant to weather conditions and ozone. The hose is intended for the transport of dry food substances: grains, sugar, powders, feeds, granules, etc. (under FDA requirements) and other abrasive substances such as PVC granulate, for which a white, non-staining inner layer is required. Not intended for use in ATEX explosion hazard zones. Standards and requirements: food industry, food contact: 1935/2004/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), BfR XXI cat.4. Standard length: 60 m (or 120 m – contact Tubes International). Inner layer: white NR/SBR rubber. Reinforcement: synthetic cord, steel spiral. Outer layer: black EPDM rubber. Working pressure: from 6 bar to 8 bar, depending on the hose diameter. Vacuum: 0.9 bar. Operating temperature: -30°C to +70°C.
