Teflon hose for transfer of chemically aggressive vapors up to 250°C PTFE CL, PTFE EL CL
Very lightweight, flexible, and highly bendable hose designed for the discharge of chemically aggressive vapors and gases in all industrial sectors. Excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance. The hose features high compressibility and impact resistance due to the external spiral. Resistant to UV radiation, ozone, aging, weather conditions, and is flame-retardant. Other diameters available in the range of 50 ÷ 508 mm and a version with a stainless steel spiral. Hose installation on couplings with bridge clamps (left-handed). PTFE EL CL version – electrically conductive hose with resistance R ≤106 Ω, compliant with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and standard TRBS 2153, made of black PTFE. Chemical resistance verification – chemical resistance table for PTFE (preliminary selection), confirmation of resistance and application conditions – by Tubes International. Standard length: 3 or 6 m. Hose material: light brown glass fabric coated with Teflon (PTFE), thickness 0.12 mm – standard PTFE CL version, glass fabric coated with black conductive Teflon (PTFE), thickness 0.15 mm – antistatic PTFE EL CL version. Reinforcement: external spiral made of galvanized steel wire and sheet. Operating temperature: from -150°C to +250°C.
