Heavy-duty extraction hose for the transfer of abrasive materials P3SPU, P3SPUAE, P3SPUAS
Very strong, thick, flexible hose designed for suction and transport of abrasive bulk materials: granules, grains, sand, gravel. Thick wall and very dense reinforcing spiral ensure high resistance to pressure and vacuum. Very smooth inside, non-compressible, not very flexible (r=4xD), retains its elasticity even at low temperatures. Hose with good abrasion resistance, also resistant to oils and gasoline. Installation on couplings with bridge clamps (right-handed) or special installation on industrial ends, e.g., flanges. Other diameters may be available upon special request. Versions: P3 S PU – standard version, made of polyester-polyurethane, very abrasion-resistant, and P3 S PU AE – version made of polyether-polyurethane, with good abrasion resistance, resistant to microbes and hydrolysis; approved for contact with food substances, compliant with European regulations 1935/2004/EC and 10/2011/EU (simulant E), 2023/2006/EC (GMP), and American FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010. Suitable for temporary contact with food during the transport of dry, bulk, non-fatty food substances – under the conditions specified in the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity (available at Tubes International); P3 S PU AS – antistatic version (R ≤108 Ω), compliant with TRBS 2153 and for suction also with TRGS 727, made of polyether-polyurethane, with good abrasion resistance, resistant to microbes and hydrolysis. Hose material: transparent polyester-polyurethane (P3 S PU), transparent polyether-polyurethane (P3 S PU AE and P3 S PU AS). Wall thickness measured between the spiral: 2 mm. Reinforcement: dense spiral made of steel wire. Operating temperature: from -40°C to +100°C.
