Extraction hose for transfer of chemically aggressive vapours up to 250°C GRIPFLEX SILTEF, GRIPFLEX SILTEF EL
Lightweight, highly flexible and bendable, chemically and thermally resistant two-layer hose designed for the discharge of the most chemically aggressive vapors, gases, dust, and fibers (non-abrasive), and for the blowing of hot air. Very good chemical resistance to aggressive chemicals due to the internal layer of PTFE. In the standard version, the internal layer of white natural PTFE meets food industry requirements (FDA). In the antistatic version EL, the black internal layer of PTFE is electrically conductive (R ≤106 Ω). With an outer layer made of silicone-coated glass fabric and an inner layer of PTFE, the hose is resistant to temperatures up to 250ºC. The hose features high compressibility – up to 1:6, a strong construction resistant to vibrations, stretching, and tearing, and impact resistance due to the external spiral. Resistant to UV radiation, ozone, aging, weather conditions, and is flame-retardant. Used in the chemical industry, metallurgy, foundry, ceramics, and glass industries. Also available with a stainless steel spiral (from a diameter of 80 mm). Hose installation on couplings with bridge clamps (left-handed). Chemical resistance verification – chemical resistance table for PTFE (preliminary selection), confirmation of resistance and application conditions – by Tubes International. Standard length: from 2 to 10 m. Hose material inner layer: white PTFE Teflon film – standard version SILTEF, black conductive PTFE Teflon film – antistatic version SITEF EL. Hose material outer layer: silicone-coated glass fabric, silver-gray. Reinforcement: external spiral made of galvanized steel wire and sheet. Operating temperature: from -50°C to +250°C.
