OREGONPU, OREGONPUAS hose for transfer of abrasive materials and dry food products
Light, flexible, bendable, and nearly smooth inside hose designed for suction and transport of light materials with abrasive properties, such as dust, powders, granules, grains, flakes, and similar substances under low pressure. The hose is made of polyether-polyurethane and has good resistance to abrasion, ozone, weather conditions, hydrolysis, and biological corrosion. It is suitable for contact with food for the transport of bulk, dry food materials. It complies with European regulations 1935/2004/EC and 10/2011/EU (simulant E), 1895/2005/EC, 2023/2006/EC (GMP), and American FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 “d”. It is suitable for temporary contact with food during the transport of dry, bulk, non-fatty food substances – under conditions specified in the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity (available from Tubes International). Reinforcement with a hard PVC spiral provides good crush resistance. Used in various industrial applications, particularly in the food and agricultural industry, plastics, construction materials, etc. Versions: standard and antistatic – featuring a copper antistatic wire embedded on the outer side of the hose along the reinforcing spiral. Effective grounding of the wire ensures a sufficient level of electrostatic charge dissipation for many applications. The specified wall thickness of the hose is measured between the spiral. Hose material: transparent polyether-polyurethane. Reinforcement: hard PVC spiral. Operating temperature: from -25°C to +85°C.
