Light and flexible hose designed for the transport of air, dust, powders, wood shavings, fine chips, lightweight bulk materials, etc. Specifically designed according to the requirements of the woodworking and furniture industries, it can also be used in other industrial sectors. Antistatic and flame-retardant, it ensures high work safety. Flexible and elastic, even at low temperatures. Less compressible than the SMARTFLEX® 0.4 hose, but smoother on the inside. With very good abrasion resistance, also resistant to microbes and hydrolysis. Free from halogen compounds and plasticizers. Resistant to oils and gasoline. The optimal direction of medium flow is marked with an arrow. The wall thickness of the hose is measured between the spiral. Installation on couplings with bridge clamps (right-handed). Other diameters may be available upon special request. Antistatic properties: permanently antistatic (according to ISO 8031 resistance R <109 Ω, according to German technical regulations TRGS 727 (6.4.2.4) specific resistance R < 2.5 x 108 Ω, according to directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) can be used in specific explosion hazard zones – which must be preceded by a risk analysis). After effective double grounding of the spiral, it can be treated as electrically conductive – in accordance with the recommendations of BGI 739-2. Flame-retardant – according to DIN 4102 class B1. Hose material: transparent polyester-polyurethane. Wall thickness measured between the spiral: 0.6 mm. Reinforcement: spiral made of steel wire. Operating temperature: from -40°C to +100°C (temporarily up to +125°C).
