Very strong and thick, flexible hose designed for suction and transport of abrasive bulk materials, granules, sand, gravel, pebbles, agricultural substrate. Used for loading and unloading silos, vehicles, and suction excavators, transloading from tankers, etc. Thick wall and fairly dense reinforcing spiral provide high resistance to pressure and vacuum. Smooth inside, non-compressible, quite flexible (r=2.5xD), elastic even at low temperatures. Hose with good abrasion resistance, also resistant to oils and gasoline. Installation on couplings with bridge clamps (right-handed) or special installation on industrial ends, e.g., flanges. Other diameters may be available upon special request. Versions: P3 SV PU – with polyester – polyurethane, very abrasion resistant; P3 SV PU AE – version with polyether – polyurethane, abrasion resistant, resistant to microbes and hydrolysis, compliant with European regulations 1935/2004/EC and 10/2011/EU (simulant E), 2023/2006/EC (GMP) and American FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010. Suitable for temporary contact with food during the transfer of dry, bulk, non-fatty substances – under the conditions specified in the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity (available at Tubes International). Hose material: transparent polyester-polyurethane (P3 SV PU), polyether – polyurethane (P3 SV PU AE). Wall thickness measured between the spiral: 2.5 mm. Reinforcement: spiral made of steel wire. Operating temperature: from -40°C to +100°C.
