Light, flexible, and pliable suction hose resistant to temperature, designed for the discharge of gases, vapors, smoke, and high-temperature air. Flame-retardant, resistant to hot sparks within a certain range. Mainly used in the metallurgical, foundry, ceramic, and glass industries, around furnaces, engines, and as thermal insulation. Characterized by high compressibility – up to 1:6, strong construction due to glass fabric reinforced with stainless steel threads, and impact resistance thanks to the external spiral. Used exclusively as a suction hose operating under vacuum, due to the possibility of gas permeation when under pressure (degassing). Also available with a stainless steel spiral (from a diameter of 80 mm). Hose installation on couplings with left-handed bridge clamps. Standard length: from 2 to 10 m – contact Tubes International. Hose material: impregnated glass fabric with stainless steel fibers, externally gray. Reinforcement: external spiral made of wire and galvanized steel sheet. Operating temperature: from -50°C to +400°C.
