Ultra-smooth silicone hose for pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications TYGON® 3350
Colorless, semi-transparent, flexible hose made of platinum-cured silicone rubber. Used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and biotechnology industries, medical devices, cell culture, sterile filling lines, water for injection (WFI), chemistry and blood analyzers, and liquid chromatography. Can be used in peristaltic pumps – moderate lifespan. Characterized by an exceptionally smooth inner surface that prevents the deposition and adhesion of contaminants inside the hose and the growth of bacteria. This facilitates complete cleaning and sterilization of the hose. The smooth inner layer also reduces flow resistance through the hose. Low extractability, non-toxicity, non-hemolytic, and non-pyrogenic ensure total fluid purity in sensitive applications. Meets hygiene requirements of US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, NSF-51, 3-A, and USP Class VI as well as ISO 10993 for contact with blood, bodily fluids, and tissues for up to 30 days. Sterilization possible by steam (30 min, 1 bar, 121°C), ethylene oxide, or radiation (up to 2.5 Mrad). Full roll length of the hose is 15 m. Hose available in inch and metric sizes. Working pressure defined relative to burst pressure with a safety factor of 1:5. Material: silicone (platinum). Maximum operating temperature: +204°C. Brittleness temperature: -80°C. Hardness: 50° Shore (A). Density: 1.14 g/cm³. Note: Product packaged in the Clean Room of Tubes International (CLEAN ROOM) adhering to strict standards. Return of the product after opening the packaging is not possible.
