Antistatic and flame-retardant, ensuring high workplace safety. Thick wall and dense, robust reinforcing spiral provide high resistance to vacuum. Smooth inside, non-compressible, not very flexible but elastic, even at low temperatures. Very good abrasion resistance, also resistant to microbes and hydrolysis. Free from halogen compounds and plasticizers. Resistant to oils and gasoline. The optimal flow direction of the medium is marked with an arrow. The wall thickness of the hose is measured between the spiral. Other diameters may be available upon special request. Antistatic properties: permanently antistatic (according to ISO 8031 resistance R <10⁹ Ω, according to German technical regulations TRGS 727 (6.4.2.4) specific resistance R < 2.5 x 10⁸ Ωm, according to directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) can be used in specific explosion hazard zones – which must be preceded by a risk analysis). After effective grounding of the spiral on both sides, it can be treated as electrically conductive – in accordance with BGI 739-2 recommendations. Flame-retardant – according to DIN 4102 class B1. Wall thickness measured between the spiral: 2.0 mm (SMARTFLEX® 2.0), 2.5 mm (SMARTFLEX® 2.5). Hose material: transparent polyester-polyurethane. Reinforcement: steel wire spiral.
