The outer surface of the hose made of thermoplastic material with slippery fabric properties has a very low coefficient of friction, which further facilitates hose handling and eliminates friction with other hoses and equipment components. The recommended method of installation with fittings is special EASY SHELL clamp shells, shaped to fit the hose corrugation.
