Adapter for spherical end and wing nut. Made of stainless steel, it features a special polymer or copper insert on the conical surface that interacts with the spherical sealing surface of the end. It is tightened to the spherical end using a wing nut. This creates a tight connection resistant to steam and high temperature, which is also easy to unscrew and screw without the use of tools. The thread of the wing nut has a different (larger) size than the internal thread of the GFB adapter. The GFB adapter is a typical component of a complete steam end with an internal thread. The use of the adapter allows for the creation of various connections, depending on the components used in the installation. Material: stainless steel AISI 316. Working pressure: 18 bar (+210°C) – saturated steam. Operating temperature: up to +230°C.
