Suction and discharge hose intended for the transfer of pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, food substances, and chemicals (selection according to the principles in the chapter “Chemical Hoses”). It does not contain plasticizers, phthalates, or animal-derived substances. It is characterized by high thermal and mechanical strength. It is an excellent solution for processing industries requiring the highest safety during the transfer of high-purity products. The outer layer is resistant to abrasion, ozone, and weather conditions. It has two copper wires ensuring electrical continuity between the hose ends. Standards and requirements: 1) General EC 2002/95 (RoHS), EC 1907/2006 (REACH). 2) Food industry, contact with food 1935/2004/EC and 2023/2006/EU (GMP). The inner layer complies with 10/2011/EC, D.M. 21/03/73, FDA 21 CFR 177.1550. The outer layer complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, D.M. 21/03/73. 3) Pharmaceutical industry USP Class VI (inner layer). Installation: use smooth fittings with a spigot (“tail” to the hose) that do not have sharp or high ribs that could cut or damage the inner layer made of MFA when tightened. The diameter of the spigot should be precisely matched to the diameter of the hose to ensure tightness. Installation with clamp sleeves or shell clamps. Inner layer: smooth fluoropolymer MFA. Reinforcement: synthetic cord, steel spiral. Outer layer: smooth EPDM rubber. Working pressure: 10 bar. Vacuum: 0.9 bar. Operating temperature: -50°C to +170°C (for most chemicals).
