Rubber compensator with a bellow of increased resistance to abrasive media

The bellow of a compensator is made of rubber compound with properties similar to those of rubber used in car tyres (butadiene and natural rubber). As a result, the compensator has superior resistance to abrasion and mechanical wear caused by such media as:

  • sludge

  • slurry

  • emulsion

  • dirty industrial water

  • other media, containing abrasive solids

As standard, the compensators come in the range DN25 – DN300. Larger diameters available on request.

Note:

The compensator is not designed to convey media containing oil or petroleum products. When media containing solids that are extremely mechanically aggressive (e.g. with sharp edges) are transferred through the compensator, an optional acid-resistant steel sleeve can be installed in the bellow to protect it.

Available on request.
