Colorless, semi-transparent, reinforced flexible hose made of platinum-cured silicone rubber. Designed for higher pressures. Used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, biotechnology industries, sterile filling lines, water treatment systems, vaccine production, bioreactors. Characterized by an exceptionally smooth internal surface that prevents the deposition and adhesion of contaminants inside the hose and the development of bacteria. This facilitates complete cleaning and sterilization of the hose. The smooth internal layer also reduces flow resistance through the hose. Low extractability, non-toxicity, non-hemolytic, and non-pyrogenicity ensure total fluid purity in sensitive applications. Minimal biological load (bioburden). Meets hygienic requirements of the American FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, 3-A, and USP Class VI. Sterilization possible by steam (30 min, 1 bar, 121°C), CIP and SIP cleaning of installations, ethylene oxide, or radiation (up to 5 Mrad). Full hose roll length 15 m (from internal diameter 31.8 mm – 7.5 m). Working pressure defined relative to burst pressure with a safety factor of 1:4. Material: silicone (platinum).
