Does the Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines withstand continuous operation at +70°C and protect operators from oil spray in case of hose rupture?

Yes. The Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines is made of PVC and is specified for an operating temperature of +70°C, so it withstands continuous operation at that temperature. It is designed to protect individual hoses or bundled lines and to safeguard operators from oil spray in the event of a hose rupture.

Is the Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines made of PVC suitable for outdoor use and resistant to UV degradation?

Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines is made of PVC and designed to protect hoses and operators from oil spray. However, standard PVC has limited long-term UV resistance and can degrade, become brittle or discolored with prolonged outdoor exposure unless specially formulated or UV-stabilized. The product description lists material (PVC) and operating temperature (+70°C) but does not specify UV stabilization or outdoor suitability. Therefore, based on the given description alone, you should not assume it is UV-resistant or suitable for long-term outdoor use; confirm with the manufacturer or request a UV-stabilized version for outdoor applications.

Can the Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines be cleaned with solvents without degrading PVC?

Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines is made of PVC and rated for operation up to +70°C. PVC is generally resistant to many common solvents and cleaning agents, but its resistance depends on solvent type, concentration, temperature and exposure time. Strong polar solvents (e.g., ketones like MEK, acetone), chlorinated solvents (e.g., trichloroethylene), aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., toluene, xylene) and concentrated aggressive cleaners can soften, swell, crack or otherwise degrade PVC, especially with prolonged contact or elevated temperature. Mild detergents, soapy water, isopropyl alcohol at moderate concentration, and many commercial plastic-safe cleaners are typically safe for PVC when used briefly and rinsed off. Therefore, do not assume all solvents are safe for Cover for GPVC hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and lines. For routine cleaning, use mild soap and water or isopropyl alcohol sparingly and avoid strong or concentrated organic solvents. If stronger solvents are required, test on a small, inconspicuous area first and limit exposure time and temperature. When in doubt, consult the cover manufacturer or material supplier for specific chemical compatibility guidance.
