TYGON® XL-60 temperature resistant food grade peristaltic pump hose
Lightweight, colorless, transparent, flexible hose that is odorless and tasteless, non-toxic, and free of DEHP phthalates. Specifically designed for use in peristaltic pumps. Used for dispensing and portioning cold and hot food products, for soaps and detergents, for paints, and in laboratories. The soft hose material (60° Shore (A)) is highly flexible and provides excellent longevity of over 500 hours of operation in a peristaltic pump. The hose is a good alternative to commonly used PVC or silicone hoses. It remains flexible even at -40°C and withstands elevated temperatures up to +121°C. It has good chemical resistance to a range of chemicals, such as acids and bases. Not recommended for fats, high-proof alcohols, and hydrocarbons. Resistant to ozone, oxygen, and sunlight, and is difficult to ignite. Characterized by low extractability (migration of material components into the medium). Meets hygiene and food contact requirements: European 10/2011 EU (for conditions and substances according to certification), American FDA, NSF-51. Sterilization possible by steam, ethylene oxide, or radiation. Full hose roll length: 15 m. Working pressure specified relative to burst pressure with a safety factor of 1:5. Material: tygoprene® – thermoplastic elastomer styrene (TPE). Maximum operating temperature: up to +121°C. Brittle temperature: -66°C. Hardness: 60° Shore (A). Density: 0.9 g/cm³. Note: Product packaged in the Clean Room of Tubes International (CLEAN ROOM) adhering to strict standards. Return of the product after opening the packaging is not possible.
