PYROJACKET heat shield
Thermal protection for hoses, hoses, and ropes in the form of a sleeve. Resistant to flame, abrasion, oils, and most industrial chemicals. Used in steelworks, metal and glass foundries, and casting – splashes of molten metal and glass do not adhere to the cover. Also used for protecting steam and hot oil installations – protects against burns and energy loss. Very good moisture resistance makes it suitable for outdoor use as well. Available in other colors upon request. A VCO version with flame-retardant Velcro is available upon inquiry, with diameters ranging from 22 mm to 140 mm, in lengths up to 30 meters. The Velcro mounting allows for easy installation without disconnecting wires, hoses, or pipes. Material: fiberglass coated with silicone in a rusty color. Operating temperature: from -54°C to +260°C (up to +1093°C for 15 to 20 minutes), (up to +1650°C for 15 to 30 seconds).
