Pharmaline N PTFE hose

PHARMALINE N is made of PTFE which is smooth on the inside and corrugated on the outside. It is resistant to vacuum to -0.9 bar up to +200°C. A standard PHARMALINE N hose, GP grade, has a PTFE liner compliant with the requirement of FDA 21 CFR 177.1550. An antistatic hose, AS grade, made in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 178.3297 is also available. The GP and GP AS grade hoses have been tested in accordance with and found conforming to USP Class VI. The material of hose cover – platinum cured silicone rubber conforms to USP Class VI. The hose can be also manufactured to conform to ATEX Directive.

With an additional silicone cover the hose offers low maintenance and reduced risk of burns from direct contact during hot media transfer.

Note

For working pressure above +130°C, reduce the maximum working pressure given in the tables by 1% for each 1°C of temperature rise. For example, at the temperature of +170°C the maximum working pressure for AF-PHGP-N-10 hose is: 100 bar – (170°C – 130°C) x 1 = 100 bar – 40% = 60 bar
